Hosted in Europe

Tinylytics runs in Hetzner’s data centre in Falkenstein, Germany. The company operating it is European, and your hits stay there rather than being shipped elsewhere for processing.

For anyone who has to answer a question about where analytics data lives, that is usually the whole answer. There is no tracking cookie to disclose; the only cookie we set is a session cookie for people who are signed in to Tinylytics itself. Payments and the optional AI insights involve third parties, and each of them is named in the privacy policy.

There is a pleasant footnote to the choice of location: Hetzner has run its German data centres on hydropower since 2008, so the environmental cost of counting your page views is about as low as hosting gets. Their sustainability page has the detail.

If what you are actually after is what happens during a single page view, how we handle visitor data follows one from the browser to the stored row.
