Changelog August 28th — September 1st

Just a few minor things; better account confirmations when you first sign up, and when the 14-day trial starts. Gave the docs a little tweak so they stay true, and a bit of a spit and polish.

August 28th, 2026

• ✨ Confirm your email — sign up, then confirm the address we emailed you. That starts the 14-day trial. You land on Welcome to add your first site. Unconfirmed accounts are removed after 7 days. Just a better flow and gives you time.

August 29th, 2026

• 💅 Getting Started — the guide now starts with signup, the confirmation email, and the trial. Then it points you to Settings for the embed snippet. Didn't feel right.
• 💅 Docs — Understanding Your Analytics, Pixel Tracking for RSS and Email (BETA), Guide to Uptime Monitoring, Reports & Notifications, and Guide to Content Monitoring now match the product. Not so much filler either.

August 31st, 2026

• 💅 Sites list — opening a site carries you in from the list. Hit counts become Current Views and Lifetime Views. Which is to say, it looks nicer and flows.
• ✨ Analytics API dates — grouped hits roll up by date. Pass grouped=true with group_by=date, and interval of day, week, or month. GET /sites returns period totals when you pass a date range. See the API docs. Thank you to Jamie.
• 🐢 When you're running the site on older devices, say an old Intel Mac... there is now a noticeable speed improvement as you navigate around.
