# Content monitoring

Content monitoring is a paid feature. It crawls the site (up to 50 pages, two levels from the start URL or root path) and looks for broken links, mixed content, and, on Ultra, optional spelling.

Enable it on the **Content** tab. First scan runs straight away, then daily. A subdirectory site can set a root path. Ignore paths (one per line) skip those same-host URLs.

## What you see

- **All good**
- **Broken link**
- **Mixed content** (`http://` on an `https://` page)
- **Spelling** (Ultra, opt-in, early preview)

Temporary failures are not issues yet. **502 / 503 / 504**, timeouts, and Cloudflare **520–526** go to **Scheduled recheck** (pending). They become issues only if they confirm. Email waits until then. A hard 404 is a broken link; a 500 is not automatically the same thing.

**Re-check** one row after you fix it. **Ignore** false positives. **Check now** runs a full scan from Content Settings.

## Email

New confirmed issues come from `content@tinylytics.app` (at most once per 24 hours while anything is still open). Pause the emails during maintenance, or turn them off in Content Settings.

Ultra **Spell checking** is opt-in on the same scans. Ignore brand names and jargon. English works best for now.
